Lots of things have happened in the last week or so, and apparently having a newborn doesn't leave my hands free often enough to blog about it. It's very late at night now, but I am attempting to catch up on the latest happenings...
Valentines Day
Valentines Day
For Valentines, we decided to stay in with our 3 week old, and I would make dinner for the first time in weeks. It was occasionally a struggle when Boston needed to be held or fed, but I succeeded and made a roast and lucky lemon clovers, and a triple layer mousse for dessert. John was impressed, but it doesn't take much to please him. We were not supposed to exchange gifts, but as usual, John cheated and got me a massage at the Grand America Spa. He says it isn't for Valentines, but for just being a mom. He is very sweet. Too sweet, but still a cheater.
This picture isn't recent, just romantic, so it's a favorite of mine. I must say that I'm one lucky lady.

wow - i can't believe you made that nice of a meal with a 3 week old. way to go!
i am so sorry we had to leave in such a rush at the blessing - but little jacks can't quite handle 2 sacrament meetings in a row, but who can?
it was funny, i ran to the bathroom when we we on our way out and i heard a mom come in with a little boy and it sounded as though we had spilled something all over him. i heard her call him noah - and i at once knew that it was your sister with your nephew. she told him that they had to go home to change and he got so sad and said - " but i don't want to miss it". (the blessing had already happened), so she told him they didn't miss little boston being blessed and that it was okay. he then came back and said, "no the sacrament, i don't want to miss it". it was so cute - i was kindof chuckling to myself.
