Lovers

How long have you been together?
We had our first date January 31st of 2004. We have been together ever since. So, a little over 4 years.

How long did you date?
Dated a year before we got engaged. Then had a 6 month engagement to plan my dream wedding. He thought it was too long, I thought it was perfect.

How old is he?
28. He will be 29 in November this year. I'll be 23.

Who eats more?
In one sitting, he does. But pregnancy and nursing makes me eat all day long.

Who said "I love you" first?
Definitely John. He had never told a girl that before, and he told me that when he did, it would be the girl he married. After 10 months of dating, when John said "I love you", we had never talked about marriage. Those three words were basically a proposal.

Who is taller?
John. I could never date a shorter guy.

Who sings better?
We probably are equal. Although, he is good at singing hymns in spanish. Just ask my brother in law.

Who is smarter?
This is funny. Probably John is more book smart. I never have been good at learning things I don't care about. I have always thought I had good common sense. John loves to quiz me on my times tables. Our kids will have to go to dad for that one.

Who does the laundry?
Mostly me, but lately John does a lot. A lot of my chores get halfway done these days. I wash and dry and he has been putting away. I don't mind laundry though.

Who does the dishes?
Both. I HATE this chore. It's by far my least favorite.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
Me. Closer to cradle and door.

Who pays the bills?
Me. John has no idea what is ever in our account. I kind of like this job, even though I put it off all the time. I feel sorted after the bills are all paid.

Who mows the lawn?
Definitely my husband. I never have and hopefully never will. This is a mans job. I don't like yardwork. That is probably due to all the yardwork my parents made us do on saturdays as kids. Ha ha.

Who cooks dinner?
Mostly me, but not always. Some weeks are better than others. John cooked a lot during my pregnancy.

Who is more stubborn?
We would probably both say the other one is. So, lets just say we both are.

Who kissed who first?
John kissed me, but I knew it was coming that night and I was ready for it. It was about time. we had been on quite a few dates if I remember correctly.

Who asked who out?
John asked me out. He sat behind me in sacrament meeting and passed me a note. He thought he was so smooth.

Who proposed?
John did, also in sacrament meeting, believe it or not. Ask me sometime how exactly if you want a good story.

Who is more sensitive?
Me. Tough on the outside, soft on the inside.

Who has more friends?
John. I like to have fewer, closer friends. John is friends with you after you meet him once. I am a little harder to get to know.

Who has more siblings?
John, he has 5 older sisters. I have 4 siblings.
