Boston and I flew to LA to meet up with my mom to do some shopping. I flew all alone, with my teething 6 month old. Awesome. He did really well actually, but I did give him some tylenol (ya know for the teething... don't judge me).
Then John met us back in the bay area to spend a week with my parents. This was Boston's first trip to his mama's hometown. We showed him all the sites... San Franciso, Fentons, Cowell Park... John and I even snuck to see Dark Knight without him. Loved the movie. Loved the trustworthy babysitters. What else...?
I broke our iPod by spilling the sippy cup in the diaper bag. John got a ticket for running a red light in San Francisco. We ate like kings for the whole trip. Me and my moms dresses for our Bridal Line (coming soon) arrived from NYC. They are beautiful and it is exciting - but I can't show you yet. Tiff and Randy came into town for Tiff to run the SF Marathon. John and my dad took the Porsche to Tahoe to golf LaHontan... I got mastitis for the third time. Ya... that's right. The THIRD time in six months. If only he'd take a bottle...
Our pictures from this trip don't really reflect where we went or what we did, really just the fact that we admired our son while we were there. 
And I swear, this boy is always in his daddy's arms...
And I'm the mean mom because I made him sit naked on grandpa's grass to take pictures of him. He refused to crack a smile. Pretty sure he hated the feeling.
This is his "really excited, pumping arms, breathing hard in and out my nostrils face".
And this picture sums up the last day of our trip. I was tired. He was teething big time, and we had a flight ahead of us. Really though, I just think this picture is really funny. Is this a face I pull often?And Summer, don't you think I look like you here?

I think I've seen you pump your arms and breath hard just like your son over reese's peanut butter cups and diet coke. :) lol Well, I'm a little disappointed you came to my neighbor (tahoe) and didn't try to get in contact with me :( It would have been nice to visit with you and John... next time.
I agree with Tip....when I look at that bottom picture I feel sorry for John. And yes, you do look like Summer right there when she's pissed.....Noah probably gets that stare every day.
Dude, I totally jammed out to Notorious B.I.G. back in the day! Love the pics from Cali...especially the last one ;) And congrats to your sister for running that marathon! I don't know how people do it. I walk up a flight of stairs and get winded! No way I could EVER run a marathon! 26 miles at that!
Boston is sooooo cute! I think he is trying to make your same scary face (in the pic in the grass). He of course looks way cuter!
