yesterday was his birthday.
29 years of being special.
except he isn't just his parents favorite, he is me and bostons favorite.
this picture was taken on what john calls one of the best days of his life. we took my dad's porche to Carmel, drove on 17 mile drive, and went home on highway 1.
honey, i promise to try to bring you more days like that one, and meet your goal of having 2 kids by age 30.

So we're lame family members. We know. We hope you'll chalk it up to the fact that Paul just started a new rotation and it's really bad and he's not sure he's gonna make it which means I'm not sure I'm gonna make it which means the kids might not make it - but luckily, they are oblivious.
We hope you know we love you even though we never send gifts or cards or even texts (except really inappropriate ones)
