our 7 days of Christmas

some of the highlights of our Christmas week in the bay area...

2 days and one night in San Francisco

shopping Union Square and Market Street on Christmas Eve

experimenting with the stroller to get around the 6 story Nordstroms... however, don't try this in Macy's with the narrow escalators. Tiff and I did, and sheer panic and lots of 4 letter words occurred with this experience.
visiting with family we haven't seen in a very long time

seeing Tippy's almost 5 month tummy - and thinking of names for HIM

John worked hard all week doing chores and dishes. This was all an attempt to repay my parents for the ticket he got in their car last August while running a red light in San Francisco. It got mailed to my parents, and they paid it beacuse it was so expensive - they knew I might kill John if they sent it to us, and they probably didn't want their grandson to be fatherless... : )

Boston showed off his tricks... climbing EVERYTHING, holding his own bottle of water while sitting up, and standing in daddy's hands and letting go... also took his first 3 steps!!
Boss was the star of the show... and loved playing with his so so cute new blocks, bonding with his Great Grandpa, and watching cartoons Christmas morning before anyone else was awake.
My dad worked hard to get Boston to get attatched to him. It think it worked. (I love this picture.)

All in all, our week was nothing short of spectacular. I love being home for the Holidays. We ate well, laughed hard, and made lots of fun memories. One of the best was getting to talk to Tanner on Christmas day. Loved it. Every minute.

What a great post - the week went so fast. It was time for everyone to go home before I was ready - but I'm so glad we had you all out here for Christmas and we made some happy Christmas memoires. Who would have thought we'd get to see Boston take his first steps!

It looks like you had a great time! I wish we had been able to see you while you were here (I don't leave until Monday). I would have loved to meet Boston!! He's such a cutie.
