the final days

We went to the Lindsay Wildlife museum, and the coolest things there were the play area for the kids, and the gift shop (right Summer), where grandma bought all the kids a souvenir.

Boss of course found the only balls in the whole store, and was not about to leave without one. He loved this thing.  I don't think he put it down for several days after this.
Alex picked out this little deer that you carry around in a pink purse.  She appropriately named him "little deer-y".
That evening we got together with old friends, and couldn't believe the chaos that our combined total of 6 kids did in just a few short hours.
Earlier that same day grandma broke out her matching aprons (hers and Alex's) and the kids played "Chef" and made cookies.

I probably shared way too many photos of our trip, but it was so much fun!
Ready for us to come again yet mom?

Oh, and to be fair, I must disclose that by sending John home on our original flight, it did not end up meaning that I traveled home alone.  I was gearing up to, but in the end, my mom came with me, and flew back a few hours later.  Me + 2 babies on a crowded plane = chaos, or better yet, me + an antsy toddler and demanding newborn = nervous breakdown

Thanks mom, for everything!

Cutest pictures ever. I'm loving Boston's free throw form in that one pic and Summer's kids seriously make the best faces!

okay michele, i am still learning a lot about doing quincy's hair...she had a ton and it was long like naomi's when she was that age, then at 6 months it all fell out!! i was devastated. pray this doesn't happen. we rinse really well, but don't wash her hair everyday. always condition and i use a leave in conditioner sometimes. we wash her hair with shampoo only a few times a week right now. i have friends that do more, most do less. (shampooing.) quincy's hair is still pretty soft. it isn't as course as i thought it would be by now. look up "carol's daughter hair products". they are amazing apparently. this is what i plan on using for Q, i just haven't ordered any for her yet. i use my stuff (pureology on her now.) oprah has endorced it and will smith's wife and brad and angelina use it for their little girl...if it's good enough for them! :) anyway, i have had a few people tell me they love it for their girls. i will let you know what products i end up getting.
