some suggestions...

While in Minnesota, I was introduced by my sister to this recipe book. It might be old news, but it wasn't to me. Besides the fact that every recipe I have used out of it so far has been a hit, you can only purchase it through The Make a Wish Foundation here in Utah, so half of the proceeds go to their foundation. I'm all for a good cause and a legit tax write off! Check it out. So far, my favorites are the Best Pecan Yams, BBQ Chicken Chop Salad, & Tomato Basil Soup. Their Classic Chocolate Chippers are now our classic chocolate chippers, and I'm really wanting to try all their desserts... mmmm. So check it out. You will thank me. Click that link for info.

Next, I can't personally back this one up yet, but a blog I follow posted a link to this website giving a free 8x10 canvas. I checked it out, couldn't believe this places prices and we ordered two tonight. A 16x20 of a family picture and a free 8x10 of a wedding picture. I totally trust the blog I found this on, and she says her friends have gotten theirs and they are great quality. I'll let you know how mine look when I get them, but this deal may not last forever. Here is the link.. You do have to pay shipping and handling. If you only order the free 8x10, shipping is 14 dollars. It's an unbelievable price. I hope they turn out great!

You are right about the cookbook, everything in it is really good. I don't own the cookbook, but want to REALLY bad. I just have lots of family that own it and it is a favorite.

I'm making the Tomato Basil Soup for a birthday luncheon I'm giving tomorrow. I can't wait to have access to ALL the recipes if the ones I've tried so far are any indication. Thanks for doing the research on it to find the books.

You needed to post about the canvas thing a couple of weeks ago. I was looking into doing some pictures through Costco on canvas but the total price with shipping came to about $200 and I couldn't bring myself to spend that much. So we found something else worth while to spend the money on. This website killed Costco's prices. Dang it!
