why you will never hear me say "POP"

Crap. Now I can't remember where I found this, but I thought it was so funny! I thought the only people who called "soda", "pop" were my grandparents and Utahns. Now I see that is not the case. And that the California girl in me lives on.

This is awesome! I could never figure out if I picked pop up in Utah or Minnesota, but obviously it doesn't matter.

this survey is not completely accurate. cuz my husband, and every other snowflake-ian I have ever met, says pop, and I don't see no blues and purples in the state of arizona...
but the cali colors are accurate. I am a "soda" girl. And its funny you said you only thought grandparents said "pop", cuz I used to think the same thing...til I met Randy and went to Snowflake ;)
luckily, I have taught Randy over the years to call it "soda" :)

So we're the minority??? Weird.

I think I'm just gonna start calling everything "coke" like the southerners. That's cool.

Yup, I'm a pop person! :)

Obama probably says pop. Thats reason enough to say soda, or coke, or whaterver, but not pop. In fact I heard he wants to force the whole world to say pop, if you dont, the government will fine you, and then make you drink their special kool-aid.
