My 25th birthday fell on Mother's Day this year. While I have a few bones to pick with whoever decided not to cancel Priesthood meetings that morning (seriously??), I had a lovely day with my husband, kids, and mother in-law. A few days later, I really got to celebrate by having an entire day to myself. John took the day off and spent it with the kids. I went shopping to all the stores I refuse to take them to, and then John booked me an amazing body treatment at The Grand America Spa. After my spa treatment, John and the kids met me in SLC and we went furniture shopping for the basement. We were successful in finding the best deal ever on a couch. That evening I had a girls night out with my friends - dinner and a movie. It was such a good time.
Then, at the end of the month, my parents planned a spontaneous trip to Utah for a few days so my dad could attend a wedding. It was so fun to have them here. Nothing makes my kids happier than the 24hr. attention of "papa and maa maa". We had a great couple days eating well, eating Red Mango twice in one day, shopping and walking through a few model homes to try to convince them Utah is the place to be. It's not happening, but I tried. We had a great time, and thankfully we didn't have to say goodbye for long. We leave for Sunvalley in 2 days to spend my dads birthday/Fathers Day weekend with them. YAY!

May was a great month. June has been great too. July will be awesome.
This is a good life.
