We went to the Pumpkin Patch, filling 4 truck beds with hundreds of pumpkins to give out at the Grease Monkey. The kids love doing this every year.

I have been crafting! Shocking, really I know. I found a banner like this online and wanted to make it. I am really happy with how it turned out, and surprised I was able to pull it off. John was so confused when he came home and saw hot glue and glitter all over the kitchen table. I'm proud of this new craftiness.

Then one day while Naomi was napping (partly because she likes to eat paint, and partly because I'm a control freak and couldn't handle two kids yielding paint brushes in my kitchen) Boston painted his pumpkin. He loved it, and has asked to do it again every day since.

Naomi LOVES this guy on our porch. She thinks he is her baby. She carries him around, calls him "baby" and gives him kisses. Then in true Naomi fashion, she will turn on a dime and bite him as hard as she can.
Now it's time to make John make a plan for their Halloween costumes. He is in charge every year and he waits until the last minute. There are a few options on the table... I'm sure it will be great. Remember last year?

hella proud of your craftiness skills, sister.
oh, and I feel sorry for the next baby you have...Naomi's gonna bite the hell out of 'em
p.s. can't wait to see the costumes John decides on
Good job on the craft! Before I read that you made it I thought it was pretty cute.
I love Bostons concentrating face while he paints his pumpkin. And I don't blame you wanting to only have one of them painting at a time.. I dont know how in the world I'll manage both the boys.. maybe outside?? lol
Wow- and they say crafting has died - not yet. I love what you made - and even more the darling pics of the kids. Thanks for sharing.
You're crafty alright Michele.....in a sly sort of way.
That banner is freaking sweet!! I'm totally going to have to copy ya!
I've been crafting lately too (I think Mark is getting sick of my stuff scattered all over the kitchen table!) But I made some cute Halloween decorations with stuff I already had. Can't beat free!
