we just call her "baby"

I shared these pictures on facebook a few months back when they were taken, but I only recently got the disc and realized I never shared them here. Skye asked me if Naomi would model for a few head band companies so of course we said "yes!"

Naomi is the funniest little girl. She is at the best stage right now, really cracking me up all the time. She is really smart and talks almost as well as Boston does. She picks up on everything, even singing the songs Boston learns from music class, she mimics things I do, and will out of no where say a sentence I have never taught her before. Today at Ikea she picked up a mini bowl and spoon at a play kitchen set on display, started mixing the spoon in the bowl and turned to me and said "I'm making PANCAKES MOM!" She also says to me several times a day "I miss you mom!" She says almost anything you say, but my favorite thing she said is "I so funny mom, SO funny!" It makes me laugh every time. Her and Boss play a lot together now, but fight just as much. She is really tough and doesn't take Boston bossing her around. She is LOUD - she has always been a screamer and it's ear piercing. It's unbelievable coming out of her tiny body, people are usually shocked. She can count to 10 with a little help, she LOVES to dance still and learns a new move every day. She has always been a mama's girl but has really been preferring John the last few days and I'm way offended by it. : ) She is very small for her age. Last time we checked she was like 6th percentile. People act really surprised when she starts to talk or count because she looks too young to be able to. She loves giving "high fives" and "bones". Ohh, I could go on and on about her. We still call her "baby" 90% of the time. It came from the fact that Boston couldn't say her name when she was brand new, she was and is the baby of the family, and Naomi is not a name conducive to nicknames... seriously, think about it. Someone asked us the other day how long we are going to call her that. My guess is until she has a younger sibling, and if it's up to her that day will never come. : )
We love our baby.

What about "Nay" for a nickname? I think thats totally cute!! But I still call Madden "baby" too. And I probably will until we have another baby as well.
Love the story of her making pancakes in IKEA, so cute! :) She cracks me up!
