Christmas day 2010 was my favorite ever. Getting to play Santa in my childhood home late at night with John, Tif and Randy was so much fun. Coming down into the room Christmas morning with our kids was even more fun. All the kids toys were a hit and despite our concerns the night before that maybe we didn't quite get enough, the kids were more than satisfied. Boston's big gift was his Cars GeoTrax and Naomi's was a stroller and new baby. They were so spoiled and the gifts under the tree just kept on coming! One of the big highlights was surprising John (successfully for once) with an iPad. He was shocked and maybe a little mad, but he is over it and it's by far the best best gift I have ever gotten him. It was totally worth the high blood pressure I had for a few days while hiding it from him. John demanded the Hunts participate in a Cloward family tradition and make Ginger bread houses. John was the only trooper who actually finished and he proudly displayed his as our Christmas dinner centerpiece.
These pictures are totally out of order and do not do the day justice, but it was so much fun. The lighting in my moms house is ridiculous (sorry mom, but it's so true) so 2/3 of my photos are dark/blurry. Bummer, but you get the idea: cute spoiled kids, really happy parents, lots of fun on Christmas.
Oh, and just in case you are wondering - I copied Tif and bought the same boyfriend sweats and sweatshirt because they are crazy comfortable. Boston and Madden mixed me and Tif up all week (I'm guessing mostly because of the color and length of our hair right now) and us being in matching outfits just officially confused them. Madden really thought I was his mom a few times, until he would see Tif and then be so confused. Boston called us "two mommies" and on Christmas night we were teasing him about who was really his mom and he got a little nervous and said "SCARY MOMMIES". It was too funny not to write down so I don't forget. Just 2 days ago (it's March 9th by the way) I put on this outfit and Boston looked at me, smiled, and said "like Tippy!"
After Christmas day was over, we had a few days to enjoy our toys before John and I had to load it all back in the car and drive home to Utah to move. Which didn't sound fun at all.

the "scary mommies" story was the funniest thing! I miss your funny kids :)
p.s. You and John need to watch last week's SNL weekend update...they had a hella funny joke about all the people who just bought iPads for christmas who are pissed that a newer better one just came out. Randy and I were laughing out loud cuz it totally made us think of you guys ;)
