We are big fans of the Discovery Channel. I'm considering hooking up the HD just so we can watch this channel in high def. This commercial makes me happy and thankful to live on such an amazing planet. Do you own Planet Earth? You should, everyone should.

I LOVE Planet Earth! Brad and I own the collection and are absolutley obsessed with it. The only way to watch it is in High Def. for sure.
I love Planet Earth, I only wish we had a TV with High Def, we're too poor. I love it so much I try to make excuses to show my students all the time.

I think I saw Tanner on that commercial...standing in the lava yelling "I love magma" or something like that. And then yelling at me because I couldn't get close enough to poke the lava cuz it was burning my freaking face off. Tanner would probably cry tears of joy if he saw that commercial.
Yes! I am happy to say that we own the whole Planet Earth collection!! We love them! Although, I'm kind of mad because when they showed the episodes of Planet Earth on tv, Sigorney Weaver did the narration. The dvd's we own, have some english guy doing the narration. I liked Sigorney Weaver's voice better! Who does the narration on your collection?
Oh, have you seen the Blue Planet series? Those are amazing too!
