some things...

I LOVE buying used things.  It's like a hobby... or something.  I bought this nightstand for $10 and plan to repaint it and got a very cute knob for it.  This will go in Boston's new room.
Speaking of buying used... we just bought this off KSL for an awesome price.  I wanted something for our backyard so that Boston have more to do back there than kick a ball around.  Mostly,  I thought that if I had something, I could actually invite my neighbor friends over and their kids wouldn't be totally bored.  So neighbors... LET'S HAVE A PLAYDATE!!  Turns out Boston actually REALLY likes it, even though we thought he might still be a little young.  John is proud that Boss is really into the basketball hoop on the back.
With Mother's Day coming up and my birthday, John convinced me to buy a lens I have had my eye on for a while.  We just ordered it, so I don't have it yet, but I can't wait and I'm dreaming off all the awesome things I can try with it when it arrives.  I don't know if I will even take another picture until it gets here.

On a less fun/exciting note... my little brother is currently serving his mission in Mexico City.  Couldn't the swine flu be in Siberia or something???  I want him to come home.  But don't tell him I said that.  He would be so ashamed of me...

Some other random things...
Boston got his cast off today.  We let him play in the bath for almost an hour tonight to celebrate.
Naomi is sleeping through the night pretty consistently.  (sigh)
Target has provided my kids with some VERY cute clothes lately.  I love a 4 dollar dress and 4 dollar t-shirt.

Boston is naughty.  Very naughty.  Like scream-as-loud-as-he-can and slap-mom-in-the-face naughty.  It's lovely.  (see above photo)
I got called to be the Laurel Advisor, and I'm excited, but nervous, and it's keeping me up at night
I'm about to begin a very intense scripture reading challenge... I'll let you know how it goes.  Maybe.  It could be life changing...
I'm very tired.  I should be in bed.

Glad I'm not the only one

I want Tanner to stay longer, he must love giving discussions while everyone is wearing masks.

This pig flu thing is sort of like global warming....it's not nearly as bad as the media wants us to believe it is.

I love bargains too! Ksl is great. I bought mackenzies big girl bed on there for an awesome deal. Oh and breastfeeding sucks. Mastitis is terrible and I'm almost positive I'm going to end up with it again. Surviving it 6 times like u may be out of the question. I don't know how you have done it. You are amazing!
I love her smiles those are the absolute best! What a cutie.
