I have plenty of pictures to share, and probably won't do a very good job of narrowing them down. But here is the proof of the fun we had!

We drove down to Lake Oswego to check out the Temple there. Beautiful. One of the prettiest I have seen. Awesome location, gorgeous grounds, and beautiful granite.
One day we drove along the Historic Colombia Scenic Highway and saw some of the incredible waterfalls. This day probably has enough pictures to be a post of it's own. One of the coolest things we discovered about Oregon is the proximity to anything you could ever want. This incredible drive is like 25 minutes from downtown Portland.
These pictures are all out of order and of different falls and viewpoints along the highway.
See how excited I am about Oregon?
We drove to the Oregon Coast one day, to Cannon Beach. It was gorgeous weather, and was such a cute town. We loved it there.
Proof (albeit blurry proof) that I thought Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock was awesome!
One evening, we drove back out to Lake Oswego to look around more (we LOVED this area) and to eat a restaurant we saw the first time we were out there. We decided this time around that Lake Oswego is the dream. The goal. Where we want to live. So beautiful. We ate at a place called Manzana's and it was delicious. The best meal we had in all of Oregon.
We took pictures of some of the lakefront houses. See that family of 4 on the canoe? Someday that will be us. Except hopefully with a whole boat full of kids. Though we will never live on the lake.
See how gorgeous? Wow, we loved this area.
This was the night before our anniversary, which was on wednesday, and the day we were flying home. It was a wonderful evening to cap off a wonderful trip to commemorate 4 wonderful years of marriage.
I loved Portland.
I love my husband.

It is so beautiful there! So are you guys thinking of moving there?
Hey guys, I'm Jen Peterson's cousin. My wife is from Portland, we got married in the Portland temple and my wife's family has a beach house about 30 min south of Cannon Beach in Rockaway. If you guys are thinking of moving there, I can promise you you wont regret it. It has definitely become one of my favorite cities in the US.
p.s. Not blog stalking you, I promise. Jen sent me a link to your blog since you were in my wife's old stomping grounds.
These pics are gorgeous, I wanna see the rest of the pics from your trip!!!! I had no idea Portland was such a cool place...maybe we should end up there too...or if you guys end up there we will just come visit you all the time :)
Yea! I am so glad you loved Portland! We really love it here- now I know why all Oregonians think that Oregon is the best. I thought you would like Lake Oswego as well. Isn't it beautiful, and has a sort of small town feel (the downtown area) for being so close to a huge city. Not to metion all the beautiful parks and hiking trails. Anyway, glad you had a great time! And, you even fell in love with it when it wasn't nice and sunny- that's a good sign!
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a small town an hour south of the Canadian border and I loved it! It's much greener than Utah and has a lot more scenic views that's for sure. The only problem is you have to wear a wet suit when you get in the water because it's much colder than Utah too.
I hope for our neighborhood's sake that you don't decide to move there too soon! ;)
Nice pics. Good thing Tanner wasn't there or he would have tried to climb up all those water falls.
It's funny looking at those pictures...I have been to most of those places. I have a ton of family in oregon and we use to go there at least once a year. I love it there! Looks like you guys had a great time!
