871 West

We accepted an offer on our home. It's a tough pill to swallow in this crappy economy, but we are grateful that our home sold so quickly and that we are in a position to sell at all in this unfortunate housing market. This offer came kind of out of the blue and it's scheduled to close fairly quickly. Between leaving for California for my brothers wedding and spending Christmas there as well, we have about one week to pack up our home. It's sad, scary, exciting, among many other things. We will be moving into John's parents home while we search for the perfect house. We are planning (hoping) to make this next home purchase a more permanent move for our family. Building is a possibility as well. It will be so nice to move into something we plan to stay in long term and imagine raising our kids there. It's a strange feeling to be homeless and not sure exactly where we are going, but we are just going with the flow and trusting that we will be happy with the outcome. Wish us luck. We will miss WX a lot lot lot. Don't forget about us WX 5th!

Wow that was really fast, but your house is way cute and you have an awesome yard. Not going to lie, I'm excited that your permanent house might be a little closer to us!

Congrats on the sale! Sounds kind of familiar. Ours sold in 5 days and they wanted us out in 3 weeks, right before our week long trip to Cali that was already paid for.
Gotta love the stress! We went with the flow too and LOVE where we ended up! Good luck!
