so Boston

These pictures I took the other day are the perfect representation of Boston right now. He has spent so many hours a day lately coloring at the table next to me. He is finally learning his ABC's and is pretty into his letters. For as long as I can remember he has been obsessed with the letter "R" for really no reason at all. A game we play to help him learn to recognize his letters is that he gives me a crayon and tells me what letters to write, then we go back over them and he has to see if he can remember what each letter is. Without fail every third letter is "R". He must like the way it looks or something. The other day we played this game and he wanted me to write them on his hand, so I did.

I love this boy. He has been binky free for about 24 hours now too and is doing so well, WAY better than I expected. If I had known he would handle it this well I would have done it months ago! We told him that we needed to give his binkys to Santa if Santa was going to bring him a Jeep for Christmas. He really wants a power wheel. I can't believe he went for this. He has asked for a binky a few times today and I remind him that we don't have them anymore, he looks at me a little sad and then he says "we give Santas the binkys and he gives Boston a Jeep, a car, a truck, a tractor?" I just say yes. We have taken him to see the Power Wheels to see which one he liked best and the ones we have talked to him about were the jeep, a mini cooper, the Ford F-150 and the John Deere tractor. He must think that surely if he gave Santa his binkys he is getting all four! I hope he isn't disappointed to see Santa only brings him one. He might demand those binkys come back. : )
