wow.

I really have to say "thank you" for your response to my last post. I recieved so many encouraging comments, even more emails, and complete strangers offering me advice and their phone numbers, and phone numbers to people they know who could give me guidance. I'm reminded today that people are good. I feel at peace now and am so thankful that I have a Father in Heaven who is looking out for me and my family. Times like these remind me that there is a plan for me, and that gives me the faith to move forward even when I don't know what will happen next.
So thank you.

I've decided at this stage of my life that being at "peace" with things is all we can hope for and when we have it we realize that's all we really needed. So glad you are feeling "at peace" about the future - whatever it may bring. Whoever gets to have you for a mommy is VERY lucky and blessed.

Wow, I sit here crying for a few reasons...first I am just so proud of who you are, and I love you so much! Life is funny, my girls didn't ever get to know you and your sisters very well, but they read your blogs now and I see how you three infulence my three girls and I am so grateful for that influence in their lives. Secondly, on Shane's side we have 2 Korean born nephews and we love them so much, we can't imagine what our lives would be like without them. We also have a great nephew who is bi-racial. Do these things matter....No! It is the love and stability that they recieve at home which gives them the strength to face the world, and that is true with ALL children no matter if they are adopted or not and no matter what color they are. You and John are great parents and all children deserve to have great parents. You go girl!
